Zambia Revenue Authority Spearheads Smart Invoice Sensitization Drive

Harrison Chapu, ZRA's Acting Director of Innovation and Project Management, led the presentations, highlighting the Authority’s innovation drive aimed at streamlining tax compliance processes and enhancing customer satisfaction. Smart Invoice, an electronic invoicing mechanism, was the focal point of the discussions.
Chapu emphasized that Smart Invoice is designed to be compatible with various invoicing systems used by taxpayers and can be seamlessly integrated into different ICT devices, including mobile phones. This innovative approach aims to simplify the invoicing process, making it more efficient and convenient for taxpayers while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
